 What is PoE?

PoE (Power over Ethernet) is a technology that enables power and data to be transmitted over a standard Ethernet cable. In other words, PoE allows network devices to receive power through the same cable that connects them to a network switch or router, eliminating the need for separate power cables.  PoE is commonly used in applications such as IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other network-connected devices that require both power and data connectivity.
